Job Details:
Promotes successful operations while enhancing the customer experience by engaging in activities that support Patient Access. The Patient Access Associate Level Two - Bed Control is responsible for interviewing patients and patient representatives to perform complete, timely and accurate registrations in support of the Revenue Cycle. In addition to basic registration competencies for Outpatient and Emergency registration this position is cross trained in the area of Bed Control.
Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate; 1-3 years experience; Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Healthstream; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions; Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively verbally; Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in writing.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
