Perioperative Registered Nurse individualizes plans of care to coordinate and deliver safe and age-appropriate care to patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures. Also functions as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the patient care team.
Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate''s degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Bachelor''s of Nursing preferred. Must be fluent with Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer skills, Cerner, Synquest, standard office equipment, medical terminology, nursing process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act, critical thinking skills, and medical equipment. BLS certification; CNOR preferred; ACLS-excludes Acute Care and OR within 1 year; Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; PALS-ED and PACU, only. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and must be able to follow verbal instructions.
Experienced RN with a minimum of 3-5 yeras of experience in OR. Minimally invasive surgery experience a plus. BLS certification required. ACLS and CNOR preferred. Willing to take call hours based on department needs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
