Works as a para-professional trained to provide personal care and other health care needs of the patient under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
REQUIREMENTSPreferred High School Diploma 50243Less than 2 years Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course required.
Previous experience as a CNA/Home Health Aide, preferably in a Medicare Certified Program, preferred.
RequiredCNA - Certified Nursing AssistantCPR - AHA Healthcare ProviderCHPNA - Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse AssistantSPECIFIC REQUIREMENTSMust communicate (both orally and written) effectively to patients and families.
Ability to provide safe and thorough care.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to effectively exercise tact, initiative and good judgment in dealing with patients and families.
