Center for Social Change, a local non-profit organization, serving people with disabilities is looking for a caring and motivated candidate to join our team as a Job Coach effective immediately.
Full-time and Part-time positions are available with a Monday thru Friday day time schedule.
This is a unique position because you will start your day in Randallstown and the use a company provided vechicle to transport our individials to our Day Program, in Elkridge! Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assists individuals served with learning vocational and daily living skills; transporting individuals to work sites in the community; ensures appropriate record keeping of service delivery.
Maintain good communication with leadership team on progress and needs of the individuals served.
The ideal candidate must have a valid High School Diploma or GED and Maryland Drivers Licensse.
Be passionate about helping others enhance their lives and promote independence with respect, dignity and quality.
We have the following Monday-Friday shifts available:
7 AM - 3 PM 7:
30 AM - 3:
30 PM 8:
30 AM - 2:
30 PM Requirements for Job Coach:
Ability to adapt to different situations.
Ability to apply sound, mature decision- making skills within prescribed limits.
Ability to operate successfully in a team environment; oral and written communication skills.
Ability to lift, push or carry up to 50 lbs; and can climb, kneel, run and crouch as needed.
Work requires interpersonal skills sufficient to maintain a calm, supportive and firm approach with children who have intellectual and other disabilities; maintain patience, tact and professional courtesy; develop and foster a positive self-image.
Work requires physical and emotional preparedness to effectively manage incidents.
