LPN - Northwest Hospital - Progressive Care Unit

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Unit Manager and Unit Charge Nurse, the LPN utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized nursing care plans to ensure that the needs of the residents are met; assists in the orientation of the supervision of nursing personnel; and attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift basis, unit level and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field.
1 year of experience minimum preferred.
License for Practical Nursing, American Heart Association CPR Certification.
